Milestone Session with Owen

I am shamelessly posting my session with my own baby, Owen, who is taking his time reaching the milestones of sitting and crawling...and I couldn't be more grateful. As much as I love a baby that can sit without toppling over, rushing his baby stages is not something I want to do. It’s all going too fast as it is…the longer I can hang on to this the better! But he can sit up enough now that I couldn't resist his “sitter session” with all his squeezable rolls!

These milestone sessions are a favorite for me. Although newborn portraits are of utmost importance because itty bitty babes change every day, milestone portraits cannot be missed! As a parent you're getting to know your child week by week and portraits at this stage capture their little personalities while they're showing off their newest developments. They'll never be "just sitting and crawling" again! More info about a First Year program coming to my website soon!

2016 in Review Part 2

This session was definitely a favorite. I love when families pick a special location that has played a part in their story. Caleb and Shannon met here while attending a short residency program to learn and develop a deeper Biblical understanding and grow their faith all the while God had fun plans for them to marry. With their two sweet children we went back for portraits and I could literally feel what this place meant to them as they walked around it together. It's not hard to have a beautiful family in a beautiful location either!

2016 in Review Part 1

It always takes me a little while to catch my breath after the busy season and holidays, both of which I love, to sit down and look back in appreciation of the past year. I can think back and relive every session knowing that with each one it started with the desire to preserve a time in life, a memory that can all too quickly fade, which then develops into a plan to perfectly capture the memory, followed by the portrait session (fun in and of itself!) and the finished product carefully put together to display. In the end there's so much satisfaction handing over beautiful artwork to my clients knowing they dreamed of having their most precious memories in print, bringing their vision to completion.

This was an extended family session which I adore because it marks the legacy of two people dedicated to raising their children and counting their grandchildren as more precious lives are added as the years go by. At the end of family portraits we had some extra time to get a few candids, always a favorite as it's a chance to capture personalities and relationships....and even a little adventure.

We're Live!!

It's go time! Every minute of time put into this website has been worth it. I am so excited to have a fresh new look to share Bailey Nicole Photography with you. It isn't without incredible families over the past 6 years that have made this beautiful. The words and the typography are all fun and represent my work, but it is the faces and the memories that truly make it special. So thank you to all my incredible clients over the past 6 years and here's to the years ahead, making more memories and capturing each one of them!
